Purchase Options & Cancellation Policy

This Purchase Options & Cancellation Policy applies to recurring memberships, subscriptions, and other purchase options offered by Shortbarrel Bourbon, including The Shortlist membership program.

Automatic Renewal and Billing

By enrolling in a recurring purchase option, you authorize Shortbarrel Bourbon and its payment providers to automatically charge the payment method on file at the frequency and price disclosed at the time of enrollment.

The Shortlist is currently billed quarterly and automatically renews every three (3) months unless canceled before the next scheduled renewal charge is processed.

Membership pricing, benefits, product access, and program structure may change from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.

Cancellation

You may cancel your recurring membership or purchase option at any time before your next scheduled renewal charge is processed.

Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not reverse or refund a payment that has already been processed.

Once a renewal payment has been successfully processed, that membership period is considered purchased and is non-refundable, except where otherwise required by law.

Your membership benefits will generally remain active through the end of the paid membership period. Shortbarrel reserves the right to immediately terminate access in cases of fraud, abuse, chargebacks, misuse of membership benefits, violation of program rules, or other improper activity.

Canceling a membership does not cancel, reverse, or refund any separate bottle, merchandise, event, shipping, or other order already placed.

No Prorated Refunds

Shortbarrel does not provide prorated refunds, credits, or reimbursements for:

• Partial membership periods
• Unused membership benefits
• Failure to use member access or discounts
• Failure to purchase available products
• Missed emails or announcements
• Changes in personal circumstances
• Voluntary cancellation after a renewal has been processed

This does not affect any rights that cannot legally be waived.

Limited Membership Availability

Membership availability may be limited.

If you cancel your membership, your spot is released. Shortbarrel does not guarantee that you will be able to rejoin later, return at the same price, receive the same benefits, or enroll in the same membership tier.

Previous membership status does not create a right to future membership availability.

Membership Benefits and Product Access

Membership benefits may include early access, exclusive access, discounts, events, content, barrel selections, purchase opportunities, or other benefits described at the time.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, membership does not guarantee:

• The ability to purchase every product offered
• That a product will remain available for a specific period of time
• A specific allocation or quantity of bottles
• Access to sold-out products
• A specific barrel, release, age statement, proof, finish, or product type
• Admission to every event or experience
• That limited products will not later be offered through other channels

Limited products may sell out quickly. Early or exclusive access provides an opportunity to purchase and does not guarantee inventory.

Any benefit expressly described as “guaranteed” will be subject to the specific terms, deadlines, availability requirements, shipping restrictions, and other conditions disclosed for that benefit.

Separate Product Purchases

Unless expressly stated otherwise, bottles and other products are not included in the price of a membership and must be purchased separately.

Membership fees do not constitute payment for a specific bottle unless a specific product is expressly identified as included with the membership.

Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails, Shortbarrel or its payment provider may attempt to process the payment again.

Membership benefits may be suspended or terminated if payment cannot be successfully completed.

Shortbarrel is not responsible for lost access, missed purchase opportunities, sold-out products, or other consequences resulting from an expired card, declined payment, inaccurate billing information, or other payment failure.

Shipping and Fulfillment

Shortbarrel does not directly ship or fulfill beverage alcohol orders where those services are handled by licensed third-party retailers, fulfillment providers, or carriers.

Membership does not guarantee that products can be shipped to every state, address, or jurisdiction. Product availability, shipping eligibility, delivery requirements, taxes, fees, and fulfillment are subject to applicable law and the policies of the retailer, fulfillment provider, and carrier involved.

Membership fees and product orders are separate transactions. A shipping delay or issue with a separate product order does not automatically entitle a member to a refund of membership fees.

Discounts and Promotional Benefits

Membership discounts and promotional codes may be subject to exclusions and may not be combined with other offers unless expressly stated.

Discounts have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases.

Shortbarrel may modify or discontinue promotional benefits, discount amounts, or eligible products at its discretion, subject to applicable law.

Membership Is Personal and Non-Transferable

Memberships, accounts, benefits, purchase access, and discounts are intended for the enrolled member and may not be sold, transferred, shared, or commercially exploited unless expressly permitted by Shortbarrel.

Shortbarrel may suspend or terminate memberships associated with suspected fraud, unauthorized resale activity, account sharing, abuse of benefits, or attempts to circumvent product limits.

Program Changes or Discontinuation

Shortbarrel may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue a membership program, tier, benefit, or purchase option.

If Shortbarrel permanently discontinues a prepaid program before the end of a paid membership period, Shortbarrel will address any remaining paid period as required by applicable law.

How to Cancel

You may manage or cancel your recurring purchase option through the customer account or subscription management portal associated with your purchase.

If you are unable to access your account or cancellation portal, contact Shortbarrel Bourbon for assistance before your next scheduled renewal date.

Cancellation is effective when successfully completed and confirmed. Customers are responsible for completing cancellation before the next renewal charge is processed.
