Distiller's Notes

Double Oak Bourbon

Structure. Sweetness. Depth.

Our Double Oak Bourbon begins with a blend of straight bourbons selected for balance—typically bringing together traditional and high-rye mashbills to create a layered base.

Before it ever sees a second barrel, the blend already works:

  • Caramel and vanilla from the corn base
  • Spice and lift from the rye content
  • A balanced, approachable structure

From there, it moves into new Kelvin barrels with varying char levels. This second maturation deepens texture, integrates sweetness, and builds a longer, more expressive finish.

THE RESULT:
A bourbon that leans into richness and structure—without losing clarity.

Build it right first. Then let the oak make it better.

Judged blind against some of the most established names in whiskey, this wasn’t about brand recognition—it was about what was in the glass.

These awards validate what we believed from the start: When you build the blend first and use oak to refine—not fix—you get something that stands apart.
