CARAMEL - HONEY - CANDY
A small batch Kentucky Bourbon aged a minimum of 5 years. Sourced from Bardstown Bourbon Company and Green River, blended together. Then re-barreled in new traditional medium toasted Kelvin barrels for a minimum of 6 months. The result IS a pleasantly balanced toasted bourbon with just the right amount of vanilla, candy and sweet oak flavor.
Bottled at 94 proof this bourbon will surely become a staple in any collection.
TASTING NOTES
Aroma
Deep cherry, maple, nutty almonds, burnt apple, burnt brown sugar, and lingering oak.
Mouth
A pronounced vanilla oak presence, complemented by flavors of toasted honey nut cereal and nutty pecans. The toast is evident but well-balanced, with sweet oak notes that persist alongside hints of orange, cherry, and peach leading into the finish.
Finish
A long, toasted sweet oak finish, reminiscent of lightly toasted popcorn, maintaining a consistent vanilla undertone throughout.
